Also known as an Antenuptial Agreement or Premarital Agreement, is a written contract entered into by a couple before marriage that sets out the legal rights of each one in the event the couple divorces, as well as the rights of the survivor when one of them dies. Like all contracts, the couple may amend (or revoke) the “Prenup” by mutual decision.
